We had our installation completed about 10 years ago. We have had 2 visits for warranty service, one several years ago, and another just last week to correct a problem with the sliding door latches. Their service was prompt- next day! The team at Brothers was great from start to finish. From the sales team (Anthony for us), to the the phone coordination and installation team, the process was easy. Installation was done in a few hours (3 windows). They did the unit next door in the same day, so could easy do a larger home in a day too. Removed old windows and put in new ones without cutting into the walls. It's amazing the difference these windows make for reducing noise from outside (we had original 1980s windows for this unit). We highly recommend this team for your window replacement needs. It's a custom window build, so allow time for them to be built (no one turns around custom sized windows in a week). Brothers have impressed me through every interaction I had with their  Home Improvement team (15 full construction Window replacements and 2 Doors in my case). Jessie,  the outside sales person who met with us was a really nice guy who takes pride in the service and products this tight knit family business provides. Having worked his way up from the installing team he had "hands on" experience that really lent over when reviewing window options and installation choices. It was an easy decision to go with Brothers when comparing their prices on the Simonton window offering and accompanying warranty. The scheduling, measuring and installation process was also top notch. Everyone was super knowledgeable and really focused on customer satisfaction. The 3 lead installers were VERY capable with a lot of experience in construction and carpentry. They were also conscientious in their clean-up and never left an unsealed opening before they left for the day. As an overall observation, a job with this many windows can run longer than anticipated. My construction went out for two weeks primarily due to the City Permitting process in Santa Cruz  and the discovery of dry rot that Brothers stepped up and fixed (again great carpentry work on the fix). I had 13 windows installed by Brothers Home Improvement and they did an amazing job! From the first visit to the final cleanup, everything went super smoothly. The initial communications from Jeremy were succinct and timely. The crew (TJ, Raul and Luis) showed up on time, worked efficiently, and clearly knew what they were doing. I was working from home the day of install. These guys know their trade! The new windows look fantastic — they’ve made a huge difference in how my home looks and feels. You can tell the quality is top-notch. The team was friendly, respectful of my space, and made sure I was happy with every detail before they wrapped up. TJ did a thorough walk thru after the entire job was completed. His customer service skills are top notch and he’s genuinely concerned and attentive. We just finished having all 21 of our windows and sliding glass doors replaced. We couldn't be happier with the process from the initial quote to installation process. Roch, their expert sales person was very personable and informative. He didn't just disappear after we accepted the quote. He was available for questions and concerns along the way and even showed up on site, the first day of installation. We were a little worried after day 2 because we didn't like a couple of things that were done. Day 3 was all about doing the finishing touches and they addressed our concerns and fixed them to beyond our satisfaction. All of the guys who did the installation work were very kind and polite. Amazing experience. Brother's Home Improvement came to my house to measure and estimate my job. Geoff was professional and did not make us feel pressured to buy. He set expectations for the project and I cannot think of anything that did not go to plan. The products came in ahead of schedule and the install took a day for the whole house. Living in El Dorado County, the heat through our old windows was brutal but now it is silent in the house and our air conditioner works 1/4 of the amount it did before. Brothers installed 2 windows in my upstairs windows and did a great job! They ordered the windows I wanted and said they should be delivered and installed in 6-8 weeks. They arrived in that time frame with no hitches. They called and set up a time to install that very same week! The crew arrived on the dot, introduced themselves and explained everything regarding the process. What a nice, polite, happy crew they were too! It only took a couple hrs and cleaned up nicely afterwards too!! I would highly recommend this company! Brothers installed all my new special windows, and sliding doors.  I’ve had them all in now for about 6 years.  They did a wonderful job and recently when I had a small issue with the handle/ lock on the slider, they came right out and adjusted it for me lickety split!  And there was no charge. ****UPDATE****:  I have updated my rating based on some recent communication with Brothers.  Upon seeing my review here, the company contacted me to get more information as they were confused on the details.  The issues that I experienced had not been elevated to management at the time.  As we discussed the problems on the phone  I expressed that I truly understood the issues and I was simply upset at the communication.  They offered to come look at the Windows to verify everything and figure out a solution.  I had told them it wasn't necessary since I had already installed everything and we're pretty far out so I didn't want anyone to have to drive out there. I was happy they had expressed some concern with the customer service issues.  Without prompting, Brothers called me back the next day with an offer of a refund to make things right.  This was not requested nor expected.  The comments about being very customer service based were not just lip service.  They followed through.  As such, I wanted to come on here to update the community that even though I had an issue with one individual at the company, overall the experience was great. ORIGINAL REVIEW: While anyone building during COVID knows, production issues are rampant and have become the normal.  I was expecting these and do not hold Brothers responsible.  We did have one window that wasn't including in the original shipment of 19 windows.  Initially, Brother's was great and was looking into it and got it re-ordered. However, upon pickup, the window was the incorrect size.  I had to uninstall a couple windows that were already installed, reframe multiple window openings and shuffle windows around to make it work, and the company didn't even offer to give me a partial discount even though the window was smaller than the one I had ordered.  While not worth the time or money it would take to fight it, I did want to post here so others were aware of this problem. Nearly a decade ago Brothers installed twenty-six windows, three sliding doors, and dozens of window casings at our home.  I didn't do a review then because, well, I didn't write reviews; but as I'm searching for contractors to do other work, it occurs to me that they deserve some kudos ... From the sales guy (professional, respectful), to the installation (quick, thorough, and cleaned up afterwards), to the quality (everything still looks and functions as new years and years later), I've got nothing but positive things to say about them.  We could have purchased a cheaper product, but that would have been a mistake for our long-term home; we could have spent more, but given how high their quality is, I can't imagine it would have been better. It's easy to write a good review for a company when everything goes 100% right. It's rarer to want to do so when your project doesn't go so smoothly. But, in this case, it is a testament to the honesty and integrity of this company and the folks that work there, that I am providing a 5-star review despite some issues. I want to start by saying that every other window company I called either failed to respond to my inquiry or failed to show up on time for appointments to discuss my project. Each told me it was "impossible" to provide an actual appointment time and could only provide broad time windows, which they then decided were potential arrival times which they were late for, then expected me to be available for a further 90 minutes for their sales pitch. In the middle of a workday.  Their receptionists were rude, brusque, and generally appeared not to care. I was not impressed. In contrast, the nice lady who works the phones at Brothers was always warm and friendly when I called. Steven, the sales  guy, made a specific appointment time, arrived on time, and provided a solid, written and emailed quote with options within 45 minutes. He was friendly, knowledgeable, personable, and professional. Brothers was not the cheapest quote I got - nor the most expensive - but this experience alone made me want to go with them. It took me a few months to pull the trigger on my project. When I contacted Steven to move ahead, he honored his quote even though manufacturer pricing had changed. Everything went fantastically and quickly with measuring and getting an installation date. Guys showed up on time for the appointment and they were done in the amount of time they promised, leaving the areas clean. Except I noticed that the wrong grade window had been installed. I called Steven right away and he got back to me within a couple of hours with an immediate apology and two options to compensate me for the mistake, both of which were fair and reasonable. No arguing the toss. I was, again, more than happy. Then, the next issue was/is to do with permits for the small window in one of my bedrooms. It's a long story and, based upon my own research, not Brother's fault BUT never once have I doubted that they would do the right thing to resolve the issue. Both Steven and Steve (installation manager) have been quick to respond to my requests and have promised that, whatever it takes, they will do whatever they need to do to resolve this current challenge. I'm writing this review without a final resolution because I am *that* confident that they will stand by that promise. As for the door and windows I had installed, they're great quality, no issues with installation whatsoever. For a project that has had a few snafus, I could never have imagined writing such a glowing review but it is 100% deserved. This company is THE REAL DEAL. Honesty, integrity, and solid people working for them. You don't find that much these days. If you're thinking of replacing your windows or doors, you need to work with Brother's, PERIOD. I own a window and door shop but purchased a home that had windows from Brothers. I had a window fail and they honored a warranty even though I was not the original purchaser and replaced the entire window through the manufacturer. Just had a my 19 windows and 2 sliding glass doors installed.  All three of the installers were professional, friendly, and very thorough with the installation. They even cleaned up all the debris and more.  The windows look amazing and operate flawlessly.  From the initial phone call to set up the free estimate appointment, the in home visit to get the estimate, the official measuring appointment, and then now the install, it's been a first class experience.  The price was less then the others for the same windows.  I reached the Simonton windows we now have and were impressed by the ratings. Being an old fashioned, I am not much in to complementing for services and products.  But in this case I forced to take an exception for the excellent service I received from Brothers. Brothers installed our doors and windows 10 years back.  The rollers to the patio door needed to be replaced  just from wear and tear.  I was going to do it my self but was not able to lift the heavy door so I contacted Brothers. Tina who handles the warranty work very pleasantly set me up with an appointment.  Ron came and replaced the rollers and the door started working just as new but then he noticed the track and suggested we replace.  He ordered and installed so now the door is working just perfectly. Based on my own experience I can tell you don't see anymore this type of old fashioned service. So I am so grateful to the Brothers for taking care of my needs. Harry
